Consumer Interest In iPhone 8 Higher Than iPhone 7: Gene Munster”

Another new leak now points to a flat OLED display for the upcoming iPhone 8.

The rumour mill has been turning again and has thrown up a curveball in regards to the much-anticipated iPhone 8 (or X, or edition - depending on who you believe). With the iPhone 8/iPhone Edition, Apple is rumored to feature the Intel XMM 7560 modem, which is capable of download speeds of up to 1Gbps through LTE. Prior to the analyst's claim, rumors were rife that Apple will be launching a next-generation iPhone with a curved display, one similar to its rival company's flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy phones. Considering it will Apple's first key step towards the new OLED technology, that hopes for curved display screen may indeed happen later on. The news about the $1000 iPhone 8 limited edition is therefore not surprising and is surely credible.

Apple will release the new iPhone later this year because the tech giant confirmed that they still need time to test out their new materials. Some of the projected new features have been consistently talked about over the last couple of months, but now new reports suggest that Apple may not go all-in with the iPhone 8, which is reportedly going to be called the iPhone Edition. Apple's OLED panels are expected to be supplied by Samsung, but most of what is reported could be the analyst speculations, so we will need to wait to see if it is actually what we might see in reality as well.

This year's iPhone 8 model will mark the 10-year anniversary of the original iPhone.

The Wall Street Journal and The Korea Herald have recently said that the Apple's next high-end iPhone will have a curved screen.

Guinea's Naby Keita recovering after collapse
But I think it's very likely he'll play for us next season. 'I don't know if he'll play for us for three or four more years. The Guinea midfielder has scored four goals and produced eight assists in all competitions for the German outfit.

The last year's survey was conducted when the iPhone 7 was just two months away. It is said that Apple is testing multiple prototypes with the usage of different materials on the exterior, different display options as well as units with and without the home button. "We also found that with curved displays, aka edge screens, users felt more exhausted holding the phone and had more erroneous touches".

We're also looking at wireless charging support, and a glass back, too. With the mass production date reportedly commencing in September, the iPhone 8 could launch either in October or November.

This flat OLED design is synonymous with the 2.5D glass design on the current iPhone. Though the company has been tight lipped about the device, a lot is already known about the upcoming iPhone 8.

According to Apple Insider, the home button will be replaced with virtual buttons or what KGI Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo refers to as a Function area.
