Kashmir Life reporter on the spot said one person Peerzada Wasim was injured.

Following the day-long clashes, the authorities ordered the closure of schools, colleges and other educational institutions on Tuesday "as a precautionary measure", and all university and other examinations scheduled for the day have been postponed.

At least 50 students were injured, according to reports.

"Students are protesting in a few colleges".

The Kashmir University Students Union on Monday held protests in all colleges and universities following the Saturday incident.

On Wednesday, SSP said, there was stone pelting on the naka of the police that has traditionally operated from the gate of the college for many years now. Colleges in Bejebehara and Khanabal are also on boil. They were soon joined by the students of Women's College M A Road which is adjacent to it. "A lady constable had a fracture in her arm", it added.

A youth was killed in Srinagar city and over two dozen students were injured in south Kashmir Pulwama district in fresh violence in the Valley on Saturday.

As they reached Maulana Azad Road, they were intercepted by police and CRPF men, who fired dozens of tear smoke shells and resorted to heavy baton charge to disperse the students, who retaliated by hurling stones on them.

Students clashed with government forces in Indian Kashmir on Monday as they protested a police raid on a college, in the latest outbreak of violence to hit the restive disputed territory.

"In this incident some miscreants and police personnel were injured. One was referred to Srinagar hospital where his condition is stable".

The FIR has been registered under sections 342, 149, 506 and 367 of Ranbir Penal Code against unidentified Army personnel and investigation taken up, a police official said.

However, the Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has taken cognizance of the "alleged" disproportionate use of force against students of Pulwama college.

Police said they had filed a case against the troops shown in the clip.
