Bulls rally to defeat Celtics 111-97, take 2-0 series lead”

Over the first 12 minutes of the game, the Jazz hit four of their seven long-range shots and only one of their 10 two-point field goal attempts.

Chris Paul had 25points, 7 rebounds, and 11 assists in the loss.

After the dying moment 97-95 win Saturday Night, Utah Jazz lock horns with Los Angles Clippers in the NBA Playoffs First Round, Game 2 tonight.

Center Rudy Gobert, whose breakout season helped Utah return to the playoffs for the first time since 2012, suffered a knee injury on the opening possession of the contest, leaving his status for the rest of the series in doubt. "That's what we need", Griffin said.

Utah Jazz forward Joe Johnson, left, and Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul go after a loose ball during the second half in Game 1 of an NBA basketball first-round playoff series, Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Los Angeles.

Blake Griffin scored 24 points.

Instead, the Clippers had Coach Quin Snyder's team in a defensive scramble for most of the night, dominating down low to the tune of 60 points in the paint and securing a series-tying 99-91 victory at Staples Center.

Paul's 18.0 nERD was good for second among Clippers players in the win, per numberFire Live.

There was more to come in the second.

The incident occurred at a major junction near the Gush Etzion bloc of Israeli settlements in the West Bank outside Jerusalem. In that same time, Israeli forces killed at least 243 Palestinians, majority identified as attackers by Israeli authorities.

Tillerson declares the Iran nuclear deal a failure
White House press secretary described the attention as a sign that Trump believes there are problems with the deal. Iran has defended its nuclear programme as purely civilian.

These are exactly the types of plays we've come to expect from the Clippers over the years, and even though we've seen them hundreds of times, it's still awesome to see that kind of athleticism on display.

"You've got to be mentally tough to win there".

"A little bit of a surprise for me", Favors said. When he puts his mind to it, Griffin is excellent at racing ahead of the action and sealing defenders to put himself in advantageous situations. They could ill afford to drop two games at home in this series and needed this victory.

Whether it's actually deserving of Jazz fans' scorn is is an entirely different question, but Paul made some comments in his walk-off interview with TNT that didn't sit well with some Utah faithful.

For the game, the Clippers shot 52.4 percent to 45.7 percent for the Jazz. "They keep executing. I've said it over and over, but they're really well-coached". It's one game. It's nice that we won it. If the guy is open for a jumper, we find him.

Blake Griffin led all scorers with 26 points for the Clippers. Indeed, after the Clippers had been overly reactive and passive in Game 1, they were much steadier in Game 2. He demolished the rim early on, grabbed rebound after rebound, and altered a lot of attacking decisions by the Jazz.

"We moved the ball great, but all in all, I think our pace was pretty good all night", Paul said. "We've got to raise our level".

All it took for the Utah Jazz to snap an eight-game postseason losing streak was the latest edition of late-game heroics from veteran Joe Johnson.

The series will turn to Salt Lake City, where the Jazz will host Game 3 on Friday. He may have other destinations in mind, but cheering for the Bulls against Boston certainly gives Jazz fans another dimension in watching these playoffs.
